PORCELAIN RAISED FLOOR | INWASE
Inwase is used for interiors and provides a very stable and highly resistant ceramic surface. The panels are made up of a ceramic tile with a reinforcement on the back of it that, increasing only between 2-3mm, gives the whole unit high resistance. The reinforcement is composed of a polymer matrix called STRONGCID, with a fiberglass mesh embedded inside.
In raised floors, the panels are supported on crossbars, which form a steel framework that provides greater rigidity to the system. These crossbars have a 30x30mm section, continuous in one direction and sectioned perpendicularly. These, in turn, are supported by galvanized steel pedestals that rest on the existing floor.
The joints are placed once the panels are positioned. It is a specific, longitudinal and continuous joint, which fits into a slot containing a piece of PVC, whose function is to serve as support and delimitation for the panel, without the latter being in direct contact with the steel.
The Inwase Raised Floor System is composed of:
- Rectified porcelain stoneware as the upper covering of the accessible floor.
- StrongCid solution, which provides the porcelain tile with the necessary resistance to both load and impacts.
- Specific treatment to achieve the necessary thermal and acoustic absorption, as well as high resistance to fire.
- Continuous galvanized steel crossbars as perimeter reinforcement of the pieces.
- PVC band adhered to the longitudinal crossbars in the shape of an inverted “T” to facilitate the arrangement of the flooring pieces.
- PVC band between the flooring joints to guarantee the complete tightness of the system.
- Supporting structure using galvanized steel W-PLOIN pedestals to achieve the appropriate height and allow the passage of lower installations.
