Travertino Olivillo is a carbonated rock with brown tones ranging from beige to ochre, passing through orange and even grey. Their The toasted base is dotted with countless slightly lighter areas, presenting a chromatic dissonance highly appreciated by lovers of nature.
This stone is geologically formed by the precipitation of calcium carbonate found in groundwater areas on a bed of plants or organic remains, the result of which is the presence of its characteristic holes or cavities. Its main mineral is calcite.
This beautiful natural stone comes from the Iberian Peninsula and is highly appreciated for its versatility as it has many finishing possibilities depending on how the block is cut, with a linear vein or a threaded vein, and how its coker is treated.
The coquera can be kept with an open pore, a perfect finish for more rustic or natural environments. If you prefer a covered pore, you can opt for a filling in the same color as the stone, or transparent, to cover the pore but keep it visually present.
In terms of textures, there are numerous surface finishes that can be applied: honed, polished and aged, the latter perfectly matching the nature of this stone.
The Olivillo Travertine has a high level of demand by architects and interior designers to use it in exteriors, interiors, bathrooms and kitchens of large hotel projects and luxury villas.
The surface finish standards are: Polished, Honed, Domus and Sandblasted. ARQMAT offers Travertino Olivillo in any format and finish desired by the client. Check the maximum size per finish. For other finishes, check availability and sizes.
